Mike Meiré

Mike Meiré has been working as an art director, artist, designer, architect, photographer, curator, editor and facilitator for the past 25 years. During this time he has implemented numerous innovative projects primarily in the area of editorial design.

He made his debut in 1983 with the art and culture magazine "Apart". Within the context of the "Dornbracht Culture Projects", of which he is initiator and curator, he conceived and implemented the exhibition and edition series "Statements" with internationally renowned artists from 1997-2003, which has continued with new objectives since 2005 under the name "Performances".
With the business magazine "Econy", he created a young publication in 1998 with an unusual layout and visual language for the time.
In 1999 "Econy" became the business magazine "Brand Eins", which has continued to set new standards in editorial design. Since 2001 Mike Meiré has been presenting what he considers to be Liquid Identity with the publication "MINI International". Each issue of this magazine, which focuses on the world's metropolises, has its own individual layout. In 2002 he became Art Director of the lifestyle magazine "Kid’s Wear" and published his own photographs for the first time.

In 2006, Mike Meiré was named “Visual Leader of the Year” by Lead Academy in Hamburg. In 2007, he became Art Director of the renowned cultural magazine “032c” and presented his installation “Mortal Life” at the new MUSEION in Bolzano, Italy.
In 2008, he collaborates with composer Carlo Peters and cg artist Jens-Oliver Gasde to present "Noises for Ritual Architecture" – his third contribution to the Dornbracht Edges series.

Carlo Peters

Carlo Peters

Carlo Peters, *1974, works as sound artist and composer in the fields of art, film and architecture. Numerous sound installations and performances at museums, art galleries and other cultural institutions. His work features collaborations with various visual artist like Rosemarie Trockel, Carsten Höller, BLESS, Paulina Olowska and Bojan Sarcevic.
He studied media and cultural theory at Merz-Akademie Stuttgart and teaches aesthetics of music at University of Siegen and University of Applied Arts Vienna. Lives and works in Cologne.

Jens-Oliver Gasde

Jens-Oliver Gaspe

Jens-Oliver Gasde was born in Erlangen in 1971. He studied art and media at the University of Art and Design Halle – Burg Giebichenstein as well as the University of Art and Design Helsinki.
Since 2001 he has worked on a freelance basis on different projects. Noises for Ritual Architecture is the first time is has been involved in an international culture project.
