Berlin-based architect and designer Fabian Freytag is one of Germany’s most distinctive voices in contemporary interior design. After studying architecture in Berlin, Fabian founded his own studio in 2012. Known for his unconventional and colourful spaces, he approaches interiors as living scenes – bringing together architecture, art, objects and light to create immersive worlds with their own character.
Fabian Freytag draws inspiration from a personal archive of images, memories, and impressions gathered through exhibitions, films, and travels. Driven by curiosity and a spirit of experimentation, he transforms authentic materials and unexpected combinations into distinctive designs and atmospheres.

The design of the one-of-a-kind faucet takes its inspiration from a journey to the Canary Islands with the colorful architecture climbing up the hills in different shapes and facades. Through initial sketches, the selection of expressive natural stones, and the artisanal craftsmanship of Dornbracht Atelier, the unique design vision takes shape step by step.
