Moderation: Charlotte Klonk

Charlotte Klonk (born in Kassel in 1965) is a German art historian.
She studied art history at the University of Hamburg and at the University of Cambridge. After her Ph.D. she was a Junior Research Fellow at Christ Church College, Oxford University from 1993 to 1995, and from 1995 to 2005 lecturer in the Department of Art History at the University of Warwick.

From 2005 she was a researcher at the Institute for Art and Visual History at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where she habilitated in 2007. In 2010 Charlotte Klonk received a professorship at the University of Lüneburg and a professorship at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald. And in 2011 she received a professorship at the Klonk Humboldt University of Berlin.

Caroyln Christov-Bakargiev

ACarolyn Christov-Bakargiev (born December 2, 1957, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, US) is an Italian and American writer, art historian and curator. She is the Artistic Director of DOCUMENTA (13) which opened in Kassel on June 9, 2012.

Previously, she was the director of the contemporary art museum Museo di Arte Contemporanea di Torino at Castello di Rivoli in Turin until 2009, and chief curator of the same museum from 2002 to 2008.

Susanne Pfeffer

Susanne Pfeffer (geboren 1973 in Hagen) Susanne Pfeffer, born in 1973 in Hagen, has been curator at KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin since January 2007.

Susanne Pfeffer studied art history under Prof. Bredekamp in Berlin and began working as an exhibition assistant at the Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne in 2001. She subsequently became curatorial assistant to Udo Kittelmann at the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. From 2004 to 2006 she was artistic director of the Künstlerhaus Bremen, where she curated numerous first solo exhibitions.

Jeremy Shaw

Jeremy Shaw is a Canadian artist and musician based in Berlin.
While extensive touring with his band CIRCLESQUARE over the past years, he continued to work as a visual artist in a variety of media ranging from video installation, photography and painting.
