Electronic avant-garde.

An interdisciplinary encounter of computer animation art and electronic music Statements 04 brought together the multimedia and animation artist Yves Netzhammer and the electronic musicians Opiate, Mouse on Mars and To Rococo Rot in Berlin in 2000.
In his work, the Swiss native Netzhammer confronts the natural with the compassionless forms of technological progress. Netzhammer's computer animated work played on 28 monitors. Opiate, Mouse on Mars and To Rococo Rot played their compositions made especially for Statements 4. The live performance was documented and formed the soundtrack for Yves Netzhammer's work in the days that followed.
An extensive catalogue was published for the exhibit including a CD and CD-ROM.
