Kneipp's cold thigh affusion

A cold thigh affusion has a relaxing effect at the same time as it firms the skin. It is used in the leg area and extends from the feet to the groin.


  • After a stressful day - it has a soporific efect
  • 1-2 hours before going to bed


  • Start on the outside of your right foot at the toes, move the flow of water upwards as far as your right groin (stay here briefly) and 
  • direct the water back down on the inside of the thigh. 
  • Then complete the thigh affusion in the same way on your left leg.
