Dornbracht presents the Supernova bathroom for lifestyle

Iserlohn/Milan When kitchen and bathroom fittings manufacturer Dornbracht first presented the new Supernova series at the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt in March of 2009, it could just as easily have been opening the curtains for a fashion show in Milan, Paris, or London. While designers send their models out onto the runway in "naked" colors, Dornbracht presented the Supernova’s lead bath in a the same way, naked: a cream-colored example of lifestyle furniture. In addition to the lead bath, Dornbracht showed the options for bathroom design using the new Supernova fixture series in various premium bathrooms and applications.

"In the same way that the Supernova lead bath reflects the current nude look in fashion, each of the Supernova premium baths and Supernova premium applications reflects an individual trend from fashion and interior design," explains CEO Andreas Dornbracht, describing the special lifestyle of the Supernova series. "With this diversity of design options we wanted to translate the rich versatility of the fittings into guiding current trends in bathroom architecture."

While the premium baths have a similarly strong connection to lifestyle and fashion as the lead bath, the premium applications interpret Supernova in diverse ways. The different architectures in which Supernova is embedded inspire and demonstrate the diverse options for bathroom design with the new Dornbracht fitting series.

The Supernova fitting, unveiled in 2009, was already awarded the internationally acclaimed "Good Design Award 2009" (The Chicago Athenaeum) and the "iF Product Design Award 2009" (iF - International Forum Design Hannover) in the same year.
