Dornbracht Group unveils its latest products for the kitchen and bathroom at May Design Series, 17-19 May 2015

Stand L160; London, May 2015 At this year’s May Design Series (17-19 May 2015), established German bathroom and kitchen manufacturer, Dornbracht Group, will present its new 2015 launches, for the first time to the UK market.

With brands Alape and Dornbracht, the Dornbracht Group unites two superior suppliers for the kitchen and bathroom, and showcases its expertise and competence in providing long-term and comprehensive product and system solutions for interior architecture. The introduction of new bathroom fittings series, CL.1, marks the start of a new era of design for Dornbracht. This dynamic and elegant fitting - designed by celebrated German duo, Sieger Design - has two striking and innovative features: a new flow pattern that gently immerses the user’s hands in 40 soft, individual jets of water; and unique handles with two different surface textures, inspired by architectural façades, giving them a special look and feel. This new series is available in plated finishes, polished chrome and platinum matt, and includes a wide range of fittings and accessories for the washbasin, shower, bath and bidet. It can also be combined with products from other series, in order to meet individual needs and requirements.

As well as the latest from Dornbracht bathroom, the manufacturer optimises and improves everyday kitchen processes with its new swan-like tap, Sync, which features a pull-down hose, for allowing more unprecedented flexibility.

The Dornbracht Group is a haven for innovation as Dornbracht’s sister-brand, Alape, producer of beautiful and functional washplace solutions, increases its range of signature 3mm glassed steel washbasins in 2015. With two new ranges, 2step and Stream, along with a new floorstanding frame for both its popular Unisono and Metaphor ranges, and the latest flush-mounted installation method, Alape provides further freedom in design.

Alape’s slim-line basin shapes are defined by its unique competency in the processing of composite material, glassed steel. This allows for maximum durability and a precise edge, as well as angles and contours that simply can’t be achieved using porcelain or ceramics.

2step is a very distinctive basin range. The name is an unmistakable reference to its uniqueness. In two steps, the basin’s depth is split into two different levels – a deep bowl, and a functional shallow ledge that can be used for accessories that get wet during use. Stream is a new spacious, rectangular basin with a contemporary flowing form.
