Crafted in Finishes”, both manufacturers are offering joint finishes that visually and haptically connect the fittings and switches of the LS series. The opening of Light+Building 2026 is marked by the warm metal tone Brushed Bronze.

Uniform finish across different applications
Architects are often faced with the challenge of combining products from different manufacturers to create a harmonious whole. In bathrooms and kitchens in particular, fittings, switches, and lights often have similar finishes but are rarely precisely matched. This is where the collaboration between Dornbracht and JUNG comes in: shared, uniform finishes from both brands will simplify planning in the future and create a consistent look throughout the entire room. “When different areas of expertise come together, quality is created at the interfaces,” explains Deniz Turgut, Head of Marketing at JUNG. “It is precisely there, in the interplay of material, production, and design, that we see the value of manufacturer collaborations.”

The processing of real metal has always been part of both companies’ DNA: Dornbracht has many years of expertise in the development of high-quality metal finishes. Manufacturing takes place at the Iserlohn site, where innovative technologies are combined with manual precision work. Various processes such as electroplating and PVD coating guarantee durable, resistant finishes that impress with their colour depth and brilliance. The curated portfolio offers great design freedom and ranges from gold and dark to customised finishes. As a premium manufacturer of building technology, JUNG also manufactures switches and sockets from real metals with absolute precision and craftsmanship. “The collaboration with JUNG is based on a shared understanding of quality and luxury,” says Caroline Schmitt, General Management Dornbracht. “At our site in Iserlohn, we create finishes of the highest standard that harmonise perfectly across product categories and contribute to a holistic architectural experience.”

Further joint finishes planned
Brushed Bronze is just the beginning of the collaboration. Further joint PVD finishes are already in the planning stage and will be presented in time for this year’s Milan Design Week.
