A successful appearance in Copenhagen: Dornbracht used this year’s 3daysofdesign to present its new Coya bathroom faucet series and the Hyra multifunctional faucet. Under the motto “Make this moment matter,” the Danish festival had called for infusing design with greater meaning and emotional depth. It was an inspiration that the Iserlohn-based manufacturer skillfully brought to life: The showroom in Copenhagen’s Holmen harbor district became a vibrant meeting place for creatives and architects from around the world.
An Open and Collaborative Atmosphere
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Copenhagen’s harbor, the Dornbracht showroom became a highly popular forum that offered space for inspiring encounters, stimulating discussions, and new ways of thinking. Throughout all three days of the festival, a palpable sense of openness and collaboration defined the on-site experience. Together with Jung, Dornbracht demonstrated how spaces can be holistically designed using coordinated finishes for faucets and switches. The focus was on direct interaction with architects and design enthusiasts, with the joint development of design ideas and creative visions setting the pace.
Coya Takes Center Stage
Embedded within Dornbracht’s product universe, the discussions unfolded with a quality and dynamism all their own— . Two new products in particular drew the most attention: The new Coya bathroom design series, created by Sieger Design, captivated visitors with its extraordinary form, which fuses circles and squares into a single unit, allowing it to move fluidly between different stylistic worlds. The exhibition also demonstrated how the series can be customized to suit individual preferences with the help of Dornbracht Atelier—for example, through exclusive handle inlays painted with floral patterns that are coordinated with the vanities from the Argentine design brand Konqrit. The second Atelier Edition, “The Knot,” also offered a successful example of expressive customization: the traditional Ruji knot—a symbol of good luck popular in Asia—served as the inspiration for an original reinterpretation of the Coya handles.
Great Response to the Hyra Multifunctional Faucet
Another highlight was the second major new product: Hyra revolutionizes the way drinking water is dispensed in everyday life, providing chilled, hot, still, or sparkling water on demand. The multifunctional kitchen faucet, also designed by Sieger Design, will soon be available in the styles of the iconic Dornbracht series Meta, Sync, Tara, and Tara Ultra. The combination of iconic design, high-performance filter technology, and intuitive operation was very well received and generated numerous enthusiastic responses. Guests were able to experience the quality of the water and the functionality of the faucet firsthand—rounding out their festival experience in a refreshing way.
