Five new finishes: Dornbracht and Jung expand their cooperation (English only)

Iserlohn, 5 May 2026

From the initial idea to the precisely crafted design feature: Dornbracht and Jung are expanding their joint finish portfolio. Following the launch of Brushed Bronze in March, the two brands are now presenting five further finishes, which combine the fittings and switches of the LS series as part of a holistic design approach.

Five new finishes
With the expansion of their joint range, the two manufacturers are once again combining their expertise in the treatment of high-quality metal finishes: the new options available are Brushed Dark Platinum, Brushed Light Gold, Brushed Dark Brass, Brushed Gold and Brushed Dark Bronze. The finishes are drawn from the curated portfolio of the South Westphalian fittings manufacturer and correspond in name, colour, and feel to the tried-and-tested versions. “The starting point for our collaboration was the idea of shared finishes that unite the fittings and switches into a harmonious whole,” explains Caroline Schmitt, General Management Dornbracht, outlining the basic concept. She adds: “In dialogue with our target groups, it becomes clear time and again just how crucial such details are.” Deniz Turgut, Head of Marketing at Jung, adds: “The collaboration is not a classic co-branding exercise, but the result of a shared philosophy: design emerges where areas of expertise intersect.”

Manufactured in Iserlohn, Germany
The finishes of the switch ranges are produced at the Dornbracht factory in Iserlohn, Germany. Among other things, they are hand-finished during the matting process to achieve that brushed stroke characteristic which also gives the Dornbracht finishes their visual depth. This ensures that the materials match perfectly. “The fact that the coating of Jung products is carried out at Dornbracht is a crucial step,” says Deniz Turgut. “This is the only way to ensure that colour, texture, and gloss level match exactly. Achieving this separately is virtually impossible, because the products have different functions, geometries, and requirements. Making them appear as if they were cast from a single mould is only possible by sharing processes.”

Solutions for ambitious architectural projects
The implementation of the five new finishes is project-specific and geared towards larger quantities. The collaboration is therefore specifically aimed at ambitious architectural projects that are design-led and conceived as holistic concepts. This applies, for example, to high-end residential construction, the hospitality and office sectors, or public buildings. If fittings, shower solutions, switches, and sockets are precisely coordinated here, this contributes significantly to a coherent aesthetic. It also reduces the planning and coordination effort: “Architects and planners have the opportunity to use finishes consistently across a wide range of trades, realising design ideas across brands,” explains Caroline Schmitt. “This encapsulates the essence of the Dornbracht x Jung collaboration: creating consistency where compromises were previously made, thereby opening up new opportunities.”
