Dornbracht GmbH & Co. KG announces the appointment of Olaf Hoppe as General Manager. Following the successful launch of the transformation, Olaf Hoppe will consistently drive the new strategy forward.

Olaf Hoppe (59) was most recently CEO at SieMatic, where he successfully steered the company through its transformation. Olaf Hoppe brings extensive expertise in both national and international contexts and, as an experienced business leader, will take over the lead at Dornbracht on 14 September 2026.

Caroline Schmitt (CSMO) and Natalia Castellucci de Kolb (CFO) are leaving the company with effect from today. As CEO, Olaf Hoppe will assume all management responsibilities until further notice.

Over the past two years, Dornbracht has consistently strengthened its luxury positioning and further developed its brand profile with a strong focus on iconic design, distinctive water experiences, bespoke solutions and outstanding quality. At the same time, marketing and sales structures have been realigned to strengthen brand perception globally, capitalise on growth opportunities in international markets and improve market performance in the long term. With a new strategy and the professionalisation of all areas, the company is well-positioned for the future and boasts a strong brand, even in a challenging global economic climate.

Last year, Dornbracht celebrated its 75th anniversary and, with its new brand claim “Inspiring your vision”, expressed its commitment to placing the individual wishes of its customers at the centre of everything it does. Key milestones over the last three years have been Dornbracht ReCrafted and Dornbracht Atelier.

In addition to the successful refurbishment of all taps at the Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, the new Coya range was unveiled during this year’s Milan Design Week, and the pioneering collaboration between Dornbracht and Jung was launched. Two leading brands in the fields of design and technology are combining their expertise in finishes to create a harmonious overall look within a room.

With Dornbracht Atelier, the company’s new strategic direction took concrete shape for the first time last year; a visionary business segment for tailored solutions starting at one piece. It offers architects, designers and end customers maximum creative freedom to realise individual solutions of outstanding craftsmanship.

In 2026, Dornbracht was awarded the German Sustainability Prize for Companies in the “sanitary technology” category. The jury recognised the Iserlohn-based fittings manufacturer’s consistent and forward-looking sustainability strategy. The award underscores the company’s pioneering role and its clear commitment to shaping the industry responsibly. Dornbracht ReCrafted is a key component of a holistic sustainability strategy, in which used bathroom fittings are refurbished, their lifecycles extended and resources thus conserved. The business model had already been recognised at the 2025 German Sustainability Award in the “product” category.

With the appointment of the experienced and renowned Olaf Hoppe to the General Management of Dornbracht, Dornbracht will consistently pursue this new strategy, uphold sustainability and secure the company’s future as a strong partner for bespoke design.
