Mediator between geometries: The new Dornbracht design series Coya combines circle and square to create a flowing form, uniting apparent opposites. Its gently moulded handles not only invite you to touch, but also to personalise them. With Dornbracht Atelier, the design can be completely customised to your own wishes and ideas.
Sensual, unique gemstones
Thanks to its striking, unmistakable look, Coya embodies an openness to contrasts and unconventional design approaches. It is therefore particularly suitable for individual fitting solutions, which can be realised through Dornbracht Atelier starting at one piece. For example, it can be combined with exclusive materials that are integrated into the handles as interchangeable inlays. These can be precisely matched to the compositions used in the bathroom and consistently continued throughout the room – from the washbasin to the shower.
Gemstones such as sodalite, amazonite, or aventurine can be used, for instance: sodalite fascinates with its deep midnight blue colour interspersed with white veins, while the turquoise tone of amazonite radiates vibrancy and freshness. The fine, sparkling inclusions in the dark green aventurine, on the other hand, create a subtle shimmer. Especially in combination with the curated finishes from Dornbracht, the gemstone inlays unfold their unique effect. The result is unmistakable, unique fittings that lend bathrooms a sensual, luxurious touch.
Hybrid design language
Coya, created by Sieger Design, impresses with its hybrid combination of circle and square, characterised by soft transitions. With the so-called squircle, existing boundaries are set in motion. Neither round nor angular, the fittings series defies clear categorisation. It is therefore very much in the transitional style: a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements that harmoniously balances the tried and tested with the new.
Maximum design freedom
The fact that this extraordinary fitting can be individualised in an equally extraordinary way is thanks to Dornbracht Atelier: since it was launched in 2025, the business segment has opened the freedom to realise even the most expressive design wishes. This applies not only to shapes and finishes, but also to unconventional material requests such as leather, eggshell, or shell limestone. The spectrum here ranges from the adaptation of existing series such as Coya to the realisation of completely original design ideas. Dornbracht draws on over 75 years of experience in bespoke production for the unique originals, which are manufactured in the factory in South Westphalia or in collaboration with specialised partners – always with the aim of realising personal visions at the highest level of craftsmanship.
