APTM Berlin

Dornbracht’s fittings series for bathroom, spa and kitchen are renowned for their long-lasting aesthetic appeal. They outlast short-lived trends and blend effortlessly into quite different styles of interior decoration. Something that is clearly in evidence at the aptm event location in Berlin Wedding.

The 230 square-metre apartment in a former industrial loft is used as a venue, living gallery, concept store and showroom. Lifestyles in transition not only typify the constantly changing world of our age, they are a formative influence on the approach of aptm, which opened in 2017.

Dornbracht products from the Tara Classic, Sync and Tara Ultra series can currently be seen in the kitchen of the new creative experience “Umoja – Come Together”. “Umoja” is a Swahili word that essentially means “unity”. The installation takes a contemporary approach to the subject of “Africa” and clearly shows the creative freedom inherent in Dornbracht fittings. The fittings were previously seen in conjunction with the “Heimat”, “Dolce” and “Deutsch” lifestyle environments.

The design language that features throughout the Dornbracht product portfolio is based on five design principles: proportion, precision, progressiveness, personality and performance. These “5 Ps” form the basis of a lasting aesthetic quality that is guided not by prevailing taste, but by universal design principles. The result: timeless design “Made in Germany”.
