Past, present, future.

The artist Rosemarie Trockel showed her work in German pavilion at the 48th Biennale in Venice. Trockel showed three video pieces in three halls. The subject: Past, present, future. A woman's eye gazed colossally from the projection screen into the room. At the same time, the film "Children's Playground" about a day at the children's playground was playing. The third film documented a futuristic sleep laboratory. A chill-out room, in which people sleep on mattresses and in inflatable plastic sacks hanging from the ceiling. The Dornbracht Culture Projects were the main sponsor of the German pavilion.
