Milan Design Week 2025: Dornbracht inspires with infinite design freedom

A successful appearance on the world’s largest stage for design and architecture: on its 75th birthday, fittings manufacturer Dornbracht brought its new brand claim “Inspiring your vision” to life for the first time at Milan Design Week. In the showroom in Brera, the Dornbracht Atelier business segment was presented, which offers unimagined freedom in the design of customised fittings.

New freedom for self-realisation
“In Milan, we expressed what our new claim stands for,” says Caroline Schmitt, CEO of Dornbracht. “Iconic design, fascinating water experiences, outstanding quality, and product solutions that are as individual as the people we design them for. Dornbracht Atelier embodies all of this. Seeing how our guests have been inspired by the creative energy in our showroom has made me immensely proud. This year’s Milan Design Week was once again a hotspot for exchange, and an event where ideas take shape – in the spirit of ‘Inspiring your vision’,” adds Schmitt.

A world of endless possibilities
Split between two levels and around 260 square metres, Dornbracht’s Space of Discovery offered pure inspiration. This year, the focus was on realising your own ideas: At the entrance, for example, featured a visual installation with a kaleidoscope effect, inviting visitors to experience the diversity of design possibilities in all their facets. In the lower area, three exclusive fittings illustrated the infinite design freedom offered by Dornbracht Atelier. The unique pieces with surfaces made of leather, velvet, and shells in a chequerboard pattern, which are produced from a quantity of one, were staged in an almost sculptural manner – and impressed with classic elegance and progressive coolness.

On the upper floor, visitors were able to explore Dornbracht's world of kitchen and bathroom products, and enjoy multidimensional water experiences. Here too, the company impressively demonstrated what the new claim “Inspiring your vision” promises: a highly individualised brand experience that focuses more than ever on people’s needs.
